Sightseeing:
Golden Circle: You will enjoy towering waterfalls to geysers, some of Iceland’s most dramatic landmarks are clustered around the Golden Circle. This full-day, guided coach tour takes in the highlights, including Thingvellir National Park, Gullfoss Waterfall, and Strokkur Waterspout.
Blue Lagoon: The Blue Lagoon is a premier Iceland destination, known for its rejuvenating thermal baths, and of course the beautiful blue waters. On this relaxing tour, you’ll travel by coach to the healing, geothermal waters of the Blue Lagoon. Soak at your leisure in the milky blue, mineral-rich outdoor spa that includes a towel, bathrobe, slippers, and complimentary beverage, plus a silica or algae face mask
Hop on Hop Off Bus Reykjavik: Take a bus tour with City Sightseeing and explore Reykjavík at your leisure, with the opportunity to hop on and off at conveniently located bus stops. This bus pass is valid for 48 hours which gives you plenty of time to explore the best of Reykjavik. It's a city that boasts the best of both worlds; a modern, trendy and forward-looking capital whilst at the same time being so close to its unspoiled nature.
South Coast Tour: (The Golfers will have the option to join the non-golfers for this tour or play an optional forth round of golf). On this tour you will visit two of Iceland's prettiest waterfalls and be able to walk behind one of them. You will also see a glacier, a black pebble beach, and visit the village of Vik on the southern most point of Iceland.
(optional) Puffin Tour: There are about 30,000 puffins nesting on the islands off the coast of Reykjavik, only a 15 minute boat ride away. This is an hour long tour which is highly recommended from all who has done this tour.
(optional) Icelandic Horseback Riding: This will be an optional 2 hour horse back ride on the free day of sightseeing at the end of our trip. You will be picked up and returned back to the hotel by the horseback trail company.
* All these sightseeing trips will be done by the non-golfers and the itinerary is setup so the golfers can enjoy these tours also and still play in the three tournament rounds. The "optional" sightseeing (above) is not included in the package price but we have allowed time in the non-golfer schedule to enjoy these activities too.
