Brautarholt Golf Club: This golf course is ranked #62 in the World Top 100 Golf Courses from Golfscape. It is the number 1 golf course in Iceland due to its fantastic views and is considered the "Cypress Point course of Iceland". The golf course is an unusual 12-hole course, and they play an additional 6 holes (again) to make a full 18 hole course.
Keilir Golf Course: Keilir is one of the top ranked golf courses in Iceland. The front nine is surrounded by lava, and the back nine is placed on a small peninsula at the entrance into the Hafnarfjordur harbor, with spectacular views to Snaefellsjokull glacier and the Alftanes peninsula. This Golf Course is about skill and accuracy over power and distance, particularly when dealing with the lava field on the front nine!
Reykjavik Golf Club: The club was established in 1934 and is the oldest and largest golf club in Iceland. It has hosted many European and Scandinavian tournaments including major events such as the European Youth and European Seniors Tour Championships. The club consists of two 18-hole courses - one at Grafarholt (which we plan to play) and the other at Korpfulsstadir on the outskirts of Reykjavik.
Mosfellsbaer Golf Club: This club has two golf courses, We will play the Hlidavollur Championship course. This course plays down to and along the ocean with bay and mountain views. It hosted the 2020 National Stroke Play Championship, and the Icelandic Golf Tour every year. The clubhouse will also serve as the awards ceremony for our Golf Classic trip.
